My name is Robbie (aka Bearpig) and i’ve been freelancing in New Media since 2004. I specialise in motion work although my background in web-based solutions is still a big part of my work. I’ve also recently including more true 3D elements into my work. I’m based in Jersey (Channel Islands) but work remotely on many jobs around the world, using Skype and VNC to network with my clients. And that’s the beauty of the internet, isn’t it? The ability to communicate with someone around the world and help them to create some groovy.

New Media Consultancy

Websites
From holding pages to full-blown online retail store and everything inbetween. I work closely with other freelance developers and designers allow a large amount of scalability in the jobs I undertake.
Animations for web
Say you want an animated logo for your website header, or a flash banner advert for your site, or even an animated invite for an event, all can be created by myself and delivered in almost all formats (.qt/.flv/.mp4/etc) depending on the end target.
Motion graphics
Got a reception? Check. Got a plasma in your reception? Check. Running static images into it or showing a news channel that has nothing to do with your business? Why?!?! If you’ve invested in equipment for your reception, showroom or boardroom, why not use it to capture people’s attention and re-enforce your brand identity? Using animation, live action video or stills, I can create motion elements that could communicate new products or services, create a fresher and newer image of your company, or just something that looks damn cool. DVD Authoring
Have you already got footage of an event that you want to send out to your customers. Perhaps a product launch that they couldn’t attend, but you’d like them to know about it? Maybe you’ve got a stand at an exhibition and you want to grab people’s attention? I can create DVD’s that are fully tailored to the use, looping when you want them to, skipping chapters when you want to cut to the chase, all with good looking and easy to use custom menus (none of that ‘template’ nonsense here!).
Filming
Need a cameraman to cover an event, or maybe you want to do some webisodes for your companies website? I film/edit/deliver footage for most formats, from cellphone flash videos to 720i HD video, along with professionally mastered audio.
