Thanks for finding my site, and more importantly, clicking on the ‘About’ link.

Seriously. Thank you.

Even if you were just curious, then that’s still awesome. Now let me explain a little about myself…

My name is Robbie (aka Bearpig), I’ve been freelancing in New Media since 2004 and currently Technical Director at The Observatory.

I specialise in motion work although my background in web-based solutions is still a big part of my work. I’ve also recently including more true 3D elements into my work in both animation and static renders.
I’m deeply interested in workflow concepts and productivity troubleshooting. Having someone from outside your business be able to understand your current setup as well as perceive it from an outsiders point of view allows me to create and/or improve solutions which you may not of considered. Although I’m based in Channel Islands, I work remotely on many jobs around the world using Skype, Remote Desktop & oDesk to network with my clients.

And that’s the beauty of the internet, isn’t it?

The ability to communicate with someone around the world and help them to create something groovy.
